• Every Company wanting to obtain DSC for its Director/s and/or Company Secretary, should send a confirmatory email to dsc@linkintime.co.in, indicating the number of DSCs required stating the amount payable at the rate of Rs.1797/- per Class 2 DSC for 1 year and Rs.2400/- per Class 2 DSC for 2 years. This email will be treated as the Purchase Order. After the expiry of 1 or 2 years as the case may be, the DSC can be renewed.

• On receipt of the above email, we will send you a DSC kit for each person containing the USB token (an eToken), a CD containing USB Drivers and TCS File Server Plus – Evaluation Copy and a User Manual. Also the Bill for the number of DSCs required will be enclosed.

·       On receipt of the kit every Director or Company Secretary desirous of obtaining a DSC for the purpose of MCA-21 e-filing, should click on the link ‘Digital Signature Enrolment’.

• This will open the ‘Digital Certificate Registration Centre’ of our website. You may refer to the Demo for Enrolment available on the ‘Digital Signatue Enrolment’ link for the steps to be followed thereafter. The same are given below in brief :

• First of all, read the ‘System Requirements’ which are necessary for you to proceed with enrolment for DSC. Ensure that the System Requirements are fully met and if required, you may need to take the help of your technical person to ensure that your machine is compliant with all the requirements.

• Verify the System Requirements viz. : Windows NT, 2000 or XP and Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
• Set the Browser Settings – ‘Security’ to ‘Medium’ level as directed.
• Choose ‘New User ? Register’ option. Enter the details of Name, User id, Password and a valid unique e-mail id. Choose the ‘User’ option as ‘Individual User’.
• Once the user id is created take care to remember the user id and password since the same will be required at the time of downloading the certificate. (In case you have forgotten the password, you may take the help of RA Administrator.)
• Using the CD provided with the the DSC kit, download and install the ‘Driver for Aladdin eToken’ on your PC.
• Insert the USB eToken, given with the DSC kit in one of the USB ports of your PC.
• Go to the Step one on the Digital Certificate Management Centre and select the ‘Enroll for Digital Certificate’ option.
• Select ‘Class 2 Certificate’ and ‘Signing Certificate (Single Key Pair)’.
• Fill up your name, email id (valid and unique) and city and state of your location.
• Select ‘EToken Base Cryptographic Provider’.
• Confirm whether all details filled in are correct and click on ‘Generate Request’.
• Confirm your e-mail id when prompted.
• Set the security level to ‘Medium’ when prompted.
• Enter and confirm a new Password for your Private Key. Default Password of the eToken is ‘1234567890’. (If this Password is forgotten there is no way to retrieve the same. This has to be remembered.).
• At this stage, Enrolment request number is generated and the enrolment form may be printed and kept for record. Remove the USB Token from the PC and retain the same in safe custody for downloading the Certificate. Also it is important to note that
  • The PC used for generating the request should not be formatted,
  • The computer user account used to logon when the request was initiated should not be deleted and
  • reinstallation or upgrade of the Internet browser on the computer from which the certificate request was initiated should not be carried out.

Print the DSC Request Form when prompted, fill up the same with all details, photo and signature, attach certified copies of Photo id and Address Proof and send the same to local address of Intime Spectrum Registry Ltd. (RA) along with the local payable cheque /Demand Draft in favour of “Intime Spectrum Registry Ltd.” for number of DSCs required at the rate indicated in para 1 above.

• RA will verify the documents and if satisfied confirm the Enrolment Request online to TCS.
• TCS will generate the DSC and send a mail to the id given as per step ‘I’ above giving the ‘Authentication Pin’ and instructions for downloading the Certificate.
• On receipt of the mail, from the same PC used for initiating the request, go to the Digital Certificate Enrolment page of the website ‘www.intimespectrum.com’, click ‘Download Certifcate’ and log into the Digital Certificate Management Centre using the user id and password given in step ‘c’ above.
• Insert the eToken, into the USB port of your PC.
• Click on ‘Download Digital Certificate’ option in Step 4.
• Click on the Request Number which will open the DSC generated by TCS for you. Check all the details shown there and contact RA in case, you find any discrepancy.
• Enter the ‘Authentication Pin’. Click ‘Download’ button.
• Then you open an Internet Explorer Window and go to “Tools à Internet Options à Content à Certificates.” You will view a list of certificates including the one issued in your name. Double-clicking the same will show you the certificate details including “Issued to”, “Issued by”, “Valid From” and Valid To”.
• Then from the “Digital Certificate Enrolment” Page, click on the “Certificate Trust Chain” which will download the Chain. In the same path given in step ‘x’ above, if you click the “Certificate Path”, you can view the Path as – CCA, India à TCS à and your name. Without downloading the Trust chain, you cannot use the Certificate.
• PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP THE E-TOKEN AND PASSWORD IN YOUR PERSONAL SAFE CUSTODY, ELSE THIS COULD BE LIKE  A BLANK SIGNED PAPER FLOATING AROUND.

·         Hereafter, USB Token with the Password given by you can be used for affixing the Digital Signature wherever required. In case, you are using a different PC from the one originally used, ensure to download the Driver for Alladdin eToken, before affixing the signature.
